Dcon Productions is an independent film and television company founded in 2020 by Daniel J Condon.

A man of vision, Daniel had been telling stories centered around wonderfully imaginative characters since he was a child. Dcon is now the vessel by which he shares the stories he loves with a wider audience. Dcon Productions has had their first project, The Line, premier in New York City at the Chelsea Film Festival in 2024 and continues to circulate festivals around the nation. We are currently in pre-production of an untitled project coming 2026..

The Cold Lottery is the theatrical arm of Dconproductions. New, original work written by playwrights near and far is presented to a live audience at local venues as a “cold read.” No pre-performance auditions are held. The actors in these productions are chosen “on the spot” lottery style. Their names are literally drawn out of a hat. The result is an entertaining evening during which both the performers, writers and the audience share in the development of new, never before seen, written works.

Daniel’s goal for Dconproductions is two-fold: to give a voice to the voiceless and to create everlasting films, shows, and memories that will enhance and enrich society.
